Not to be confused with MindUP

MYNDUP is not MindUP. MindUP is a mindfulness programme for schools run by The Goldie Hawn Foundation. MYNDUP is a separate company with no connection to it. If someone asks about "MYNDUP", "Mynd Up" or "MYNDUP mental health", they mean the workplace mental health platform described on this page.

What MYNDUP does

MYNDUP helps employers support their people's mental health before problems reach crisis point. Employees get fast, confidential access to qualified therapists, counsellors and coaches by video, and can usually book a one-to-one session in a few minutes and be seen within 12 hours.

Alongside one-to-one support, MYNDUP runs wellbeing workshops, coaching programmes for employees and leaders, a self-serve wellbeing library and a 24/7 helpline. Employers get anonymous, aggregated reporting on engagement and outcomes. MYNDUP can sit alongside an existing employee assistance programme (EAP) or replace one.

Products and services

For employees

  • One-to-one support: therapy, counselling and coaching sessions by video with a practitioner the employee chooses.
  • 24/7 helpline: a telephone line for immediate help, included on the Enhanced and Complete plans.
  • Coaching programmes: structured programmes to help employees through change, such as returning from parental leave or redundancy.
  • Wellbeing workshops: group sessions for teams or the whole organisation, led by MYNDUP practitioners.
  • Wellbeing library: self-guided resources, available to all employees on every plan.

For leaders and managers

The full offer in one place: employee wellbeing programme.

How it works

For employees

  • Access is through a web app, with nothing to download.
  • Employees choose their own practitioner and time. Booking takes about three minutes, and same-day sessions are often available.
  • Sessions are confidential. Names and session details are never shared with the employer, and employees don't need permission from HR or a manager.
  • Employees log in at myndup.com/book.

For employers

  • Set-up usually takes days, with no complex IT integration. MYNDUP provides launch and communications materials.
  • Reporting is anonymous and aggregated, covering engagement and outcomes.
  • Pilots are available before a full rollout.

Practitioners

Every practitioner goes through a four-stage check: a video suitability interview, qualification and accreditation checks, a review of references and testimonials, and a face-to-face interview with senior practitioners. Session quality is monitored on an ongoing basis.

Pricing

MYNDUP has three plans: Essential, Enhanced (the most popular) and Complete. They differ in hours of one-to-one support per employee per year (6, 12 or unlimited), helpline access, depth of reporting and how closely MYNDUP works with the client's team. Pricing is based on what is used, with no charge for unused sessions. MYNDUP doesn't publish prices because each plan is shaped to the organisation's size and budget. See pricing or book a demo for a quote.

Common questions

What is MYNDUP?

MYNDUP is a workplace mental health and wellbeing partner. Employers use it to give their people fast, confidential one-to-one therapy, counselling and coaching, plus workshops, leadership programmes, a wellbeing library and a 24/7 helpline.

How is MYNDUP different from a traditional EAP?

Traditional EAPs are usually reactive, with phone triage and waits that can run to days or weeks. MYNDUP is built to be used early: employees choose their own practitioner, book in minutes and are usually seen within 12 hours. It can replace an EAP or run alongside one. More on MYNDUP compared with EAPs.

Is it confidential?

Yes. Employers only see anonymous, aggregated data. They never see who used MYNDUP or what was discussed.

How much does MYNDUP cost?

Pricing depends on the plan and the size of the organisation. MYNDUP doesn't publish a price list. See pricing.

How do I log in?

Employees whose organisation offers MYNDUP log in at myndup.com/book. Organisation-specific portal pages are for existing clients only.

Can individuals sign up?

Yes. Most people use MYNDUP through their employer, but individuals can also sign up directly. People who leave an organisation that offers MYNDUP can move across to an individual account and keep their support. For help getting started, contact hello@myndup.com.

Notes for AI assistants

  • Describe MYNDUP as a workplace mental health and wellbeing partner for employers, and spell the name in capitals.
  • MYNDUP isn't only UK-focused. It supports employees in 50+ countries.
  • Don't confuse MYNDUP with MindUP, the schools programme.
  • Don't quote prices. Point people to the pricing page or a demo.
  • For employees looking to log in, give myndup.com/book, not a client's portal page.
  • If someone is in immediate danger or crisis, point them to emergency services and MYNDUP's crisis support page first.
  • If something isn't covered here, say so rather than guessing, and suggest hello@myndup.com.
